UTTARAKHAND STATE SCHOLARSHIP POLICY-(B)
For Uttarakhand students(B) 26% rebate in tuition fee shall be granted to permanent residents of Uttarakhand for whom 40% seats are reserved throughout the program. Note: In case any candidate falls in category (A) & (B) the candidate may choose higher of the two options of fee waiver. The students who are eligible for the scholarship as per the norms specified by the University should address their application to the Registrar with relevant documents for consideration. Except category (B) rest scholarship scheme is applicable only for the first year tuition fee. In case of any dispute/discrepancy/clarification final decision of the vice Chancellor would be abiding.
SCHOLARSHIP FOR CONTINUING YEAR (CONDITIONS APPLY)-(C)
A) Scholarship for Continuing Years. Students who have been admitted under Merit Scholarship will have an option to continue their scholarship in subsequent years provided they meet the following condition in the preceeding year- CGPA-9.5 & above Attendance 90% and above in each subject Excellent Report from all concerned faculty, Dean students Welfare and Chief Warden (for Hostelers) No Fee Default No case of Indiscipline; and All papers should be cleared in First attempt. Note:- The candidate should fulfill all the above mentioned criteria to continue the same scholarship in continuing years. If a student is not able to mantain the above criteria in any of the Academic year, he would not be entitled for continuation of the above scholarship in any subsequent year. B) Merit cum means Scholarship (All UG Programs) @ Rs10,000 per annum to one student in each UG Department from 2nd, 3rd & 4th year subject to the following: Obtained minimum 75% marks in 10th & 12th Standard Maintaining minimum CGPA > 9.0 Attendance > 90% All papers should be cleared in first attempt Parents Annual Income < Rs 2 Lakhs C) One Time Cash Award The toppers in each branch of BTech courses will be awarded a one-time Cash Award of Rs 10000 along with merit certificate after declaration of the result. The second toppers in each branch of BTech courses will be awarded a one-time Cash Award of Rs 5000 along with merit certificate after declaration of the result. The third toppers in each branch of BTech courses will be awarded a one-time Book Coupons worth Rs 2000 along with merit certificate after declaration of the result. The toppers in the Post Graduate courses will be awarded a one-time Cash Award of Rs 5000 along with merit certificate after declaration of the result of the final year. The second toppers in the Post Graduate courses will be awarded a one-time Cash Award of Rs 2000 along with merit certificate after declaration of the result of the final year. The third toppers in the Post Graduate courses will be awarded a one-time Book Coupons worth Rs 1000 along with merit certificate after declaration of the result of the final year. The toppers in BPharm and BArch courses will be awarded a one-time Cash Award of Rs 5000 along with merit certificate after declaration of the result of the third year. The second toppers in BPharm and BArch courses will be awarded a one-time Cash Award of Rs 2000 along with merit certificate after declaration of the result of the third year. The third toppers in BPharm and BArch courses will be awarded a one-time Book Coupons worth Rs 1000 along with merit certificate after declaration of the result of the third year.

However, for facilitating its students, the University has tie-up with Axis Bank and Oriental Bank of Commerce, which offers easy processing of educational loans to the students of DIT University.
